I am in Tokyo, and I am fine.

Since I am not in Australia anymore, now the blog will be in english, because i will continue the blog. Maybe just to give to Jon some distraction while working hehehe to make him think that is a monkey instead of cuteeee ;) I wont talk about the goodbye, because i am enough heartbroken, i will talk about todays story.

I checked in with overweight but luckily i didn't have to pay anything but it was hard ... So i went into the plane with my australian jumper, UTS t-shirt, Jons scarf (Go Manly!) and the dog, and the kangaroo ... yes I looked like a Christmas tree! The seat next to me was an english guy who slept almost all the time, and when we left i realised that he was so small! like a smurf!!! I didnt like qantas, it wasnt good ... and I had already watched all the movies so ... boring! The funny thing was that the guy that was serving the food was a Manly supporter, and he gave me "special" treatment. He comes and says "go manly!!!" and i was .. ehhh ahhhh!!! yes! go manly!!! i had the dog (the one that valon gave me) and a lot of people that came through "oohhh, how cuteee!!!" I arrived to Tokyo on time, pretty good, but fucking cold (6ºC) i managed to go to immigration, then pick the bag and left it in a baggage storage room. First contact with Japanese woman, they speak really bad bad english. I could only understand arigato, so just smile and say yes ... I took the train, thanks to a nice guide that explained me how to, but it was pretty easy, and 1h25 min later (exactly as they told me) I got to Asakusabashi station. Here came the problems ... 9pm ... information closed ... I forgot to write the address of the hostel or the phone number .... and my phone (both of them) are dead ... Ok, lets try to take a taxi ... I try, and then he tells me something in japanese -"speak english" -"nonono" (like this 4 taxis) ... maximum desperation ... I was about to call Jon to Australia to ask him to find the address and I tried again the taxi, no english, but two business men that wanted a taxi as well they talked to me in english!!! Thank god!!! As I didnt have any number or address, one of them called information, and the other one put the GPS in his mobile phone to find a map of the area. They called to the hostel, and they took me until the door. Thank god to Mister Suzuki ... they saved me! (I had like 50 min before the check in closes so it was this or sleeping in the street!) Now i am connected to the hostel wifi, which is quite good, and I found a Colombian woman that knows how to speak Japanese that has told me what to do tomorrow. Lets hope I dont get lost ... I might get a japanese card to be available because its so hard to communicate with the people!!! I talked to Jon in googletalk and I felt better, otherwise i am going to miss you too much that Ill have to drag you directly to Barcelona ...

Anyway, I am going to sleep right now, take care all of you

I am missing you a lot (Jon, Aarti, Sarah, Maria, Manu, Quique, Jyo ;), Dhammika, Mohit, Amit ... )

From Tokyo with love

Asun
