Third day in Tokyo, well today in Nikko.

I was supposed to wake up early (around 6am) blablabla ... and I woke up at 8am hehe I got dressed and direct and fast to Asakusa to take the train to Nikko. It was quite easy, I tell you, I love the trains in this city, they are amazing, clean, fast, easy, comfortable and the seats have heat!!! So 2 hours later I arrived to Nikko. Countryside, snowy, and I took the bus to the temples. I stopped there, and it seemed empty. Nobody there ... I saw something that was like the booth (for the tickets) and suddenly a woman appeared she took my ticket and gave me the ticket for the temples and the shrines, and a map in Japanese of course so I wont get lost!!! So I started walking to see the place. I entered into the first temple, tree big statues (buda like) and a man dressed typically explaining everything in english ... then a woman (non japo) looks at me and asks me -are u english?- and I say yes! and we started talking. Carol, from London, travelling the round the world trip, to visit her daughter who is teaching English in Tokyo (they need that really) and later his son in Australia (who is traveling as well). And we visited all the temples and shrines together, and I got a chance to practice good English and talk with somebody that is not the wall ... We ate in a typical japo place, but the food wasn't that good (but quite cheap though) and around 4pm we took the train back to the city, and guess what, we stopped in Kasukabe!!!!!!!!!! I dont know if u really remember Shin Chan, but they lived there!!! It was so funny that i took a picture hehehehe I arrived there say goodbye to Carol and back to the hostel with some sushi, I am so tired!!!

Tomorrow, emperors birthday so lets mix with the japanese! I dont know yet what i am going to do in the afternoon.
